Welfare
Exploration is not easy, and it comes with many risks. Within the club, we do our absolute best to create a welcoming and safe place for everyone to come together and share our passion for adventure, knowledge, and teamwork.
However, we can’t always control what happens outside of the Club, especially in the remote places where expeditions tend to take place.
Our welfare page is meant to provide a direct path to discreet and serious help, whether the issue is inside or outside the club.
Code of Conduct
OUEC does not tolerate any form of harassment or victimisation and adheres to the University's standard Code of Conduct for all Clubs and Societies.
The current version of OUEC's Code of Conduct can be found here:
Complaints Procedure
This document sets out the procedure for complaints against a member or members of OUEC, including for breach of the Club’s Code of Conduct or the University of Oxford’s Policy and Procedure on Harassment.
